Why Does My iPhone 14 Pro Show No Service Error?

Many a time, the iPhone 14 Pro “No Service” problem occurs due to a random software glitch that you can get rid of by resetting the radios. At other times, the problem could be related to the ill-functioning cellular network or even a bug that may have sneaked into the operating system. So, you are looking at three major scenarios when faced with this problem.

How to Fix iPhone 14 Pro Searching or No Service Error

Here’s how to fix your iPhone 14 Pro when it has no service:

1. Make sure you’re within a coverage area

Before changing any iPhone settings or performing more time-consuming troubleshooting tasks, take a moment to consider your physical location. Are you in a remote location or somewhere you haven’t used your iPhone before? Is there a chance your carrier doesn’t offer coverage in this area?

If you’re deep inside a building, underground, or in a rural area, you may not have service in that location. Check for signal strength bars in the upper-right corner of the screen.

2. Turn On/ Off Airplane Mode

Turning on and off the airplane mode to reset the network is a reliable way of fixing random network-related issues. So, make sure to give this simple yet efficient tip a chance before you check out the other solutions.

Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to bring up the control center and tap the airplane mode icon to turn it on. Now, wait for a few seconds and turn off airplane mode.

3. Restart your iPhone

Another simple yet reliable solution that you should try to solve the iPhone 14 Pro no service error is to reboot your device. You can do this by going to Settings > General > Shut Down.

4. Update Carrier Settings

Carrier providers often release updates in order to improve the overall performance and fix miscellaneous issues. Therefore, we suggest you update the carrier setting if your iPhone 14 Pro has no service. To do so, open the Settings app on your iPhone and go to General > About. Now, if there is any carrier update available, you will get a prompt for the update.

5. Eject And Reinsert Your SIM Card

The SIM card is what allows your iPhone to connect to your wireless carrier’s network. If there’s an issue with your SIM card, you might experience “No Service” error on your iPhone 14 Pro. Simply remove the SIM card and reinsert it. Many a time, you can get rid of “No Service” issue by using this age-old trick. If you’re iPhone 14 Pro has a physical SIM, turn off your phone and then use a SIM-ejector tool to pull out the SIM tray. Now, wait for a few seconds and reinsert the physical SIM card.

6. Update software

If your iPhone 14 Pro is still showing “No Service” error, try updating the software. Since most iOS updates arrive with several bug fixes and performance enhancements, I expect the software update could help resolve the issue.

To do that, start the Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to General > Software Update. Now, allow your iOS device to check for the latest updates. If there is an update waiting, download and install it right away to fix any miscellaneous bugs.

7. Reset Your Network Settings

If your iPhone 14 Pro still shows “No Servers” message, try resetting the network settings. Since it is a popular fix for troubleshooting network-related issues, there is a good chance it can help you resolve the problem.

Start the Settings app on your iPhone and go to General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This could one of the easiest fixes for the “No Service” issue on your iPhone 14 Pro.

8. Reset All Settings

When basic tips fail to resolve a common iOS problem, wiping out all the existing settings and setting up the device from scratch can help. Therefore, we suggest you try out this solution next to fix the “No Service” error on your iPhone 14 Pro.

Start the Settings app on your iPhone and go to General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings.
Now, enter your device passcode and tap “Reset All Settings” again to finish.
